FREDERICKSON TOWN CENTER COMMUNITY MEETING

Gathering community support for zoning changes to create a more vital central shopping area in Frederickson.

The Frederickson Land Use Advisory Commission was scheduled for a public hearing on comprehensive plan and community plan amendments initiated by the Pierce County Council for the Frederickson Town Center project located at 176th Street East and Canyon Road East. due to a lack of a quorum of board members, the meeting was cancelled.

In order to get community input in lieu of the LUAC hearing we have scheduled a community meeting on Saturday December 6 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM a community meeting will be held at Sound Life Church:

Sound Life Church
3425 176th St. E.,
Tacoma, WA 98446.

At the meeting, Azure Green Consultants and FRETOC, LLC will present a summary of the history of the land use and proposed development of the Frederickson Town Center. They will also outline the current comprehensive plan and community plan amendments that are being considered. An overview will be given of the County Staff report for the LUAC that recommended denial. An alternate set of findings that support approval will be presented as well.

Please attend the meeting to see why we need to support these amendments to have an attractive Central Place in Frederickson.
